Shake some action’s what I need
I received a box of gourment surprises from my friends Amanda & Mervyn the other day. They knew I'd love the treat, being the greedy gus that I am. My challenge? To create something out of the ingredients within.

Guess who keeps me company when I'm getting ready in the morning?

My First Sony
My love for gadgets started a long time back, when Mum & Dad caved and got me my first walkman.
And the brand of choice? Sony Walkman - But not just any Sony Walkman...... My First Sony :)
My neighbour Sher and I were inseparable at the time. Joined at the hip, we would both sport our My First Sony Walkmans as we cycled our bikes at 6pm every single day after school. We'd sync up and click 'play' simultaneously, and have Debbie Gibson's Electric Youth album ringing in our ears as we rode along mouthing the lyrics to each other.
Those were the days, eh?
Now I'm told I'm gonna be able to try out the new and improved Sony Walkman. These days, there is no cassette tape involved so I'm not gonna fear the noodle getting caught in the Walkman's mechanics. There won't be any squiggley noises when I fast forward tracks. I'm gonna be able to store a whole lot more than 90 minutes in my bit of plastic.
Enter the latest breed of Sony Walkman. They're gonna be perfect for skipping with. Can't wait to get my grubby paws on them, stat.

Where you from, you sexy thing?!
I remember first seeing this film back in the late 90's back when I was in boarding school.
The Full Monty is a comedy about six unemployed blue-collar workers who decide to strip at a local pub for cash after seeing their wives' enthusiasm for the Chippendales. Sounds a bit absurd but it really was quite funny yet heartwarming at the same time, seeing as how it actually revived some of their marriages etc.
And I hear that our local guys are going to be adapting this in a musical! So here's me just doing my part to help spread the word for Kheng - If you want a laugh and if you're curious to see how they've adapted this 1997 English flick, check it out!

Keeping cool in harem
It's been crazy weather so I thought I'd try a new method of keeping cool - Wear airy clothes!
harem pants by Loef
And you know what? They work a charm. I never thought I'd be able to pull off harem pants but they are soooo cool - literally.
I used to wear LOTS of baggy trousers in the past and there came a stage where I just looked juvenile in them, so this is kind of reliving those times but without having to look like the Far East scratter that I once did!
(No offence to anyone who's still in that phase of their lives, of course! It just doesn't suit this piece of mutton anymore.)
My asymmetric top today is also from Loef!
Romping Around
I used to wear a lot of these when I was a kid and I remember hating them. What can I say? They were difficult to play in and tough to get to the toilet in!
But the romper craze is now back in adult fashion and I know a few friends who love them! Personally, I don't mind them much but they usually make me look kinda dumpy as I don't have the nicest legs in the world. Bit chunky.
Love this one though, it's a halter neck and goes down to your knee. Comfiness :)
