A Day in the Park

if only everyday were this green

If there's one thing I love more than anything in the world, it's being close to nature and being surrounded by green.

Don't get me wrong. I love beaches, I love the skies but show me a garden full of leaves and a smile just breaks on my face. My brother used to tell me when I was a kid that gazing at trees soothes your eyes and calms your mood and being little, I thought it was a whole lot of drivel. But now that I am fast becoming an old hag, I must admit I think he was right all along!

So we took the dogs off to the park over the weekend and I just felt like I was transported into a whole different world. The city fell away and suddenly this whole paradise opened up to us.

Sigh, I want to go back again... Needless to say, the doggies loved being out with us and Sally even chased a few pigeons!
