It took them awhile to settle in.

On the first day when the house was still empty, Rosco whined a lot. I think he didn’t know what to do with himself and felt disoriented. Sally followed me around like a shadow and unless she was lying on my foot, she didn’t feel at ease. Oh, the pins and needles.

By Saturday, things started rolling in. The workmen started to look like they were done with the final touches and all the furniture came in at the same time. It was chaos for a bit but once it was done, the doggies skipped around happily and looked more at ease.

Suddenly, Sally wasn’t my shadow anymore. She’d curl up somewhere happily and she is getting better with the stairs. I had to hunt for Rosco, going from room to room.

I even caught them playing downstairs on Sunday morning, running around the wide space and looking generally a lot happier. They also ran back to the front door without me having to lead them, after their walk.

Guess these two are feeling at home now :)

we are thinking of bringing a pup home… but its been so long since i had a dog and no longer sure how to train them… do your doggies use the pee tray when at home?

Rosco used to use the pee tray. Sally would just hold it coz she doesn’t like getting her paws wet. You can read up on toilet training… Or use scent sprays to help them along.

Adorable! Didn’t take them long enough to claim their space, huh. Esp Sally on the green couch!
