I’ve spent the past four days within the walls of our new home.

Three of those were spent packing and yesterday was spent trying to recover from falling sick – Note to all who are in the process of moving: Remember to drink more water amidst the chaos! I woke up yesterday and my throat had swollen so much that I could hardly breathe or swallow without being in agony. Thank goodness for pregnant-friendly anti-inflammatories (Danzen).

So we’re here. Finally.

Hubba and I were a little worried about how all the furniture would come together – We’d discussed the look and feel of the house for ages, got the pieces slowly and separately, and definitely had a ‘vision’ for the place when we bought all them all. Thankfully when all the stuff got delivered, it turned out just how we had envisioned it.

There’s still lots to be done. The baby room is currently a store room for a crap load of boxes and we’ve still got heaps to unpack but at least the place feels more like home now.

Here’s a bit of a preview!

Love all the wood you have.. where did u get the dining table, coffee table and side table?

The dining table and coffee table were designed by a Singaporean friend of ours who lives and works in Bali. He designs and creates furniture using wood and metals. Our side table in the dining room was bought at Angela’s yard sale :)
