My second trimester has been a lot better to me than my first.

No more nausea, a lot less exhaustion and way less mood swings. Aside from a foot cramp or two when I’m on my feet for too long, I’ve felt very normal. And it’s only when I look down at my fast-swelling belly that I realize I haven’t been dreaming. And that yes, this is really happening!

So anyway, today I had a really good workout.
It consisted of 20 minutes of brisk walking and running (on and off every alternate minute), 30 push-ups on an incline and 10 minutes of swishing on this waist swinging contraption at the park (which felt like heaven on my spine). It felt really good. I am so glad to be feeling this way, although everyone keeps warning me not to get too used to it ‘coz apparently the third trimester is beached whale time.

Ah well, I enjoyed myself. And it was fun working out with Hubs again too. Hubba Hubba!

    WOw! u still looking great! U still have the energy to exercise which is excellent. I remembered i was feeling so so lazy though my 2nd tri was the best, as usual.

      I actually don’t! It can be a struggle and I nap more than I ever have in my life! But I try to find the energy ‘coz I just feel bad for being such a wuss when all the books say I should be doing something.
