A great big hello from our little family down here in Melbourne!
I know it’s been awhile but between wrapping things up at my part-time work gig, getting myself signed at a new full-time work gig, getting us packed up for a 10 day holiday – our first ever family holiday with the Bug – and all the rest of it, things have been a little bit crazy to say the least. But it’s been one helluva ride…. And what other way could it possibly be with the Fangs? :)
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt about myself this trip, it’s that I’ve really become a true, blue Singaporean (or Asian person) at heart. As enriching and amazing as this has all been, home is where my heart is and I am so very excited at the fact that I get to see my furkids tomorrow; that I’ll be near my dearest family and friends again, and that I can have all the Chilli Padi and Lime in the world at hardly any cost! I absolutely abhor living out of bags and that’s probably the one thing that I have truly hated, especially with the added logistics of the Bug in tow.
But she has been absolutely wonderful company! In the 10 days that we’ve been away, she has changed so much.
She has added a range of phonetics to her vocabulary. She has learnt to really tell us when milk time is… No more guess work needed, there is a very distinct type of shrieking and squeaking involved. She has tried all sorts of flavours and Mummy has discovered that she is a great fan of fresh Sourdough, Buffalo Mozarella and Olives…. She absolutely loves animals and is enamoured by Penguins. And she loves, loves, loves being around older kids!
I am so happy and so exhausted at the same time. See you sooner rather than later, Singapore!

I can’t help but giggle. even though she seems to be on the verge of tears here. the bug is too adorable in this picture !
