Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose….

Definitely not the Singapore experience of Christmas but you know what? We do have a pretty unique one still.

Every year in December, the torrential rain comes and batters the streets. Some may not like it but I absolutely love it! We get to sleep without the aircon for the month, we get to enjoy a cool and crisp air… It’s like I always say, it’s snowing! It just melts before it hits the ground is all :)

The girls are at an age where they understand Christmas and are so excited about it coming. Can I just say how adorable the ages of 4.5yrs and 2.5yrs are? They are at a perfect stage now where they have a beautiful relationship with each other, where they totally understand how wonderful it is to have a loving family, and how wonderful it is to have wider family and friends that they love dearly. The list is long every night when we say our prayers together and they always remind me if I’ve left someone off – case in point, I get a lot of grief from Charly if I accidentally leave little Georgie off the list. (George is my sister’s six month old longbottom corgi!)

This year has been such a big, eye-opening, life-changing, wonderful one. There is so much to be thankful for.

Merry Christmas to you and your’s. May whatever you’re experiencing teach you as much as life has taught me, for self-discovery and learning – and that leading to thanks and gratefulness – is indeed, the greatest gift of all.
